We are a Latin dance school based in Auckland, specialising in salsa and bachata classes, events, choreographies and teams. With over 20 years of dance experience, we are New Zealand semipro bachata and salsa couples champions and have multiple gold medals in both partnerwork and shines for salsa and bachata.

BACHATA INFLUENCE WORKSHOP

with MARCELO CRAVIOTTO - Argentina

We know it’s short notice, but we couldn’t pass up this opportunity. Come and learn Melvin & Gatica style Bachata Influence from certified Influence instructor Marcelo Craviotto.

Bachata Influence is a highly expressive, emotion-driven style of dance and brand created by international instructors Melvin and Gatica. It fuses traditional and modern bachata with urban dance elements, emphasising deep musicality, close-partner connection, and storytelling rather than just complex choreography

This one hour workshop will give you an introduction to Bachata Influence and cover some foundational movements - We cannot wait!

When: 8:30-9:30pm Wednesday the 20th of May

Level: Open level, suitable for improver level and above dancers

With a total of nine weekly classes to choose from, there’s something for everyone!

We welcome a new improvers plus level of salsa partnerwork to our course and introduce a new instructor - Alina Kireeva. Alina will be teach salsa shines and salsa improvers plus with David.

We will shortly be announcing more information about our two new choreography teams - Salsa couples and bachata couples teams.

Rueda is a type of Cuban salsa that is danced in a circle as group with partners rotating throughout the dance. This open level course will start at the basics and increase in complexity every week.
